Time For Gift Wrapping
It's the time of year when we start wrapping gifts at Barnes and Noble and JCPenney's to raise money for the rescue and awareness about rabbits and other small pets that need adopting. If you are interested, please email rrr@rascallyrabbitrescue.org for more information.
Adopt snuggle-bunny Joey!
Meet Joey! He enjoys horseback riding, long walks on the beach, hiking and Italian food. Okay, maybe not horses, the beach, hiking or Italian, but he is a big fan of grass hay, Critter Cookies, carrots, parsley, and romaine lettuce. He doesn't care for other rabbits or pets, but loves people! He is a cuddler, so much so, that we're shocked he is still with the rescue! Magazine Fundraiser
Did you know that you can buy magazine subscriptions and 40% of your purchase goes to the rescue? Check it out! Buy a gift for yourself and a couple of friends and help pay for a rescue pet's food and veterinary care!
ADOPT a RABBIT!
Our adoption events are held at Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital. Our next event is not yet scheduled, but keep in touch or join our mailing list for the latest news. If you know of a great place to hold adoptions, or you would like to help out on those days, please let us know!
If you want to meet a certain rabbit at any of our adoption events, please email us and let us know which pet and which event so we can take him/her to that event. Feel free to take a second to get to know all our adoptables on our adoption page or through Bunspace.
We always collect donations at our events, but we will also take used ink cartridges and cell phones! We turn them in for recycling and get money for our vet bills, hay and litter in return! So stop by at our next event and bring a phone or ink cartridge with you for the critters!
Also, at most adoption events we trim nails and clean anal glands at no charge. So please bring your favorite furry herbivore (rabbit, guinea pig) along, assuming they don't get too stressed out from the trip. We also have some great toys available for your pet and all proceeds benefit the rescue. Please be careful to not bring unhealthy animals to the grooming sessions to prevent the spread of any rabbit and rodent diseases.
Avon Fundraiser
Our Avon fundraiser is Online and lasts through the end of 2012. Buy gifts, skin care, perfume, makeup, lotion, shoes and jewelery, and the Avon Lady and Rescure Director (Deana) will donate 20% of your purchase directly to the rescue! It's a great way for the rescue to make a little extra money. You can place your order online and even ask for Representative Delivery, if you won't want to pay by credit card or pay for shipping! BECOME A MEMBER of Rascally Rabbit Rescue and Critter Haven of Arizona, Inc. Members have exclusive access to the Bunny Brigade, a discussion group created for members to keep in touch with fellow members and RRR volunteers. Also, only the Bunny Brigade gets 10% discounts on Critter Cookies, Critter Cots and toys sold by RRR. Membership is only $10.00 per year. Please mention that you heard about the HRS through this web site, and include your email address. As a member of the HRS, you will receive The House Rabbit Journal. This is sent to all members of the HRS as part of its educational effort. It keeps members abreast of new developments in understanding and caring for our rabbit companions. You will receive the Journal whenever it is published, usually three or four times a year.
