BOWLARAMA is August 1st! Bowlarama is organized by PACC911 every year to help its member organizations to raise money for animal rescue. It is a fun day, the first Saturday of every August as previously declared by Former Gov. Janet Napalitano, for rescue groups to come together, bowl and have a great time. The rescue groups can win monetary prizes for competetions such as "Best Team Cheer" and "Best Team Costume". All of the monetary prizes and pledges raised by each rescue goes to the animals! We, at RRR, use this money for veterinary care, which is our biggest need every year.
Although this year is particularly difficult to collect donations, our goal is to raise over $500 for veterinary care. It sounds difficult, but, in reality, if 10 people ask 10 people to donate $10 each, we can easily raise $1000! Will you do your part and ask friends, family and coworkers to donate a few dollars for our critters?Download the Pledge Form and start raising money. Ask co-workers, neighbors, friends, Myspace Pals, etc. We have Myspace, Facebook and Twitter profiles, so add us as friends and spread the word! After collecting your pledges, contact one of the directors so that you can mail, drop off or have your form and pledges picked up by a volunteer. These pledges will be totalled and the amount raised placed online. We ask that donations be made this way, rather than online, as it saves the rescue a little money. However, we always accept donations online through our donation page or Causes application.
Critter Cookies is graciously donating a first, second and third prize to those volunteers who raise the most in pledges for Bowlarama! First place will receive a Large container, second place a medium container and third place a small container. If the winner does not have a small herbivore, the winner may choose to substitute the cookies with Critter Cookies For Dogs or a fleece/flannel blanket by Critter Cots.

Faline and Bambi are the rescue's first rescue, taken in from a kind lady who could no longer care for all 4 of her rabbits because of health problems. Faline and Bambi are quiet, yet playful, and enjoy eating and sitting in window sills. Laurie currently fosters the bonded pair. Many people inquire about adopting Faline because she's so very pretty, but fail to respond after hearing that she has a boyfriend. With some love and patience, we believe they will become good friends, though a bit more independent of human contact than some people may like. Please consider adopting this wonderful pair of rabbits, as they're sweet, fun, and entertaining couple, most deserving of a wonderful forever-home.
